PROPERTIES

Professional adhesive, without solvents in putty form. Available in gray color. The product features a breaking point that is greater than concrete and high adhesion. It is highly resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, and salt (sea) water, while it does not shrink. Classified as a structural bonding product to concrete per EN 1504-4 and class RG per EN 13888.

APPLICATIONS

D-38 is used to repair concrete defects and seal cracks that will be injected with the epoxy resin DUROSTICK D-33 (pic.1).
It is suitable for bonding similar and dissimilar construction and industrial materials (pic.2), such as metal, polyester, and glass, stone, fiber-reinforced cement screeds etc.
It is also suitable for anchoring expansion rebars and equipment as well as fastening metal formwork around concrete columns.

USE

1. Surface preparation
All application surfaces must be free from loose materials, dirt, grease and moisture.
2. Application prepartion
Empty the plastic tube containing the hardener B, into the container with the resin A. Mix thoroughly for 5 minutes using a thin, metallic putty knife. It is important that we scrape the bottom and the walls of the container, during the mixing process, to evenly distribute the hardener into the entire resin mass.
3. Application
Apply the mixture using a putty knife or gauging trowel. Remove the excess product using DUROSTICK THINNER 201, immediately after use.
When applying over cracks, allow for 24 hours to pass before injecting DUROSTICK D-33 resin into the crack cavity..

CONSUMPTION

NOTES

• Epoxy systems are susceptible to the temperature and the humidity of the environment until their complete hardening. Increased temperatures will result in the reduction of the pot life of the mixture. Increased humidity levels will result in matte or discolored spots on the surfaceand increased curing time. During and after mixing the two components together, the temperature of the mixture is increased..
• After hardening, the product is harmless to health and the environment.
